Vocals were recorded on a Shure SM-57 into Pro Tools. I’m not happy with the mix, but I’m not going to mess with that until FAWM is over. I improvised a bit with the lyrics, so the words on the recording may not perfectly match those below.

I threw this one together rather quickly with the help of my friends MasterWriter, Pro Tools 8, ProjectMix I/O, Vetta II, Variax, and MacPro (aka OctoMom). Look for them on future songs.

Believe it or not, this took up nearly 20 tracks in Pro Tools. (Yeah, I know! Doesn’t sound like it at all!)

FAWM stands for February Album Writing Month. Each February, hundreds of people all over the world are spending the entire month writing, recording, and releasing music. The goal is to complete 14 songs by the end of the month. Given that February has only 28 days, that’s a new song every other day! But the real goal was probably stated best by Jack London: “You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club!”
